Kit Review: REI Stratus Sleeping Pad
With a middle height of around 2" (the 2.5" it claims are for the sides only), the Rei Stratus Sleeping Pad offers a comfortable night's sleep even when placed on top of gravel-sized rocks. It also has an R-Value of 2.9, which puts its insulation rating on the same level as the Neoair Trekker. Rob and I have used these sleeping pads to camp at below zero degrees Celcius (inside of a tent with sleeping bags), and were both a comfortable temperature throughout the night. Even my feet were nice and toasty and I have blood circulation problems!

Kit Review: Sony Cybershot WX350
Weighing in at only 164g and with the measurements of 25.7 x 96 x 54.9mm, the Sony Cybershot WX350 reviews very well in the size department. It's small enough to slip into the front pocket of some tight jeans (though I probably wouldn't trust it to stay there if I was going for a run) and light enough to stay there for hours without being an annoyance. However, given its price and my clumsiness and Rob's desire for me to take care of it better than I did the last one..., I always keep it in its own semi-hard case.
